This listing is for an inverted pleat bed skirt. The bed skirt will be 3 sided and attached to white cotton the size of the mattress so it should lie below the mattress, or on top of the box spring. It will be split on the sides to allow for any legs, unless you indicate otherwise. You can choose from most of the fabrics at Premier Prints EXCEPT for the designer prints (there is another listing for those). This listing does NOT include: Rochefort, Scott Living, Belgian, Luxe Linen. Since daybeds and regular beds are oriented differently, please select if you are wanting a regular bed skirt or a daybed skirt. For a daybed skirt there will be one long side and two shorter sides, and for a regular bed skirt it will be opposite. I could hardly wait to put this on! It came more much more quickly than expected and is PERFECT! We had taken our bed off the frame and so the box spring was sitting on the floor uncovered. Not attractive. But a standard length bedskirt would have been too long. I ordered samples, and Deanna helped me select a beautiful "cat scratch-proof" fabric and sewed the skirt to the exact length I measured. HUGE upgrade for our bedroom. Now to repaint and convince my husband to let go of our old faded Pottery Barn curtains and have Deanna make some fresh new ones for us!
