Thank you to my awesome customer for allowing me to use this beautiful picture of her bathroom and the shades and made for her.

These beautiful roman shades are made in 100% 7oz weight European linen. They will be made to order to fit your specific window(s). Linen is a great option for any window you want with a beautiful yet causal look. It's a strong and durable fabric that is inherently sun resistant so one of the only fabrics that I would ever recommend not lining in a window. This gives a nice opaque view while still giving some privacy and allowing some light into rooms where a little extra light is needed. It is shown here in a soft cream color but can also be done in a true white. The style here is a casual semi-relaxed, right between a flat/standard and a relaxed Roman. If you prefer a completely relaxed Roman, make note of that in the notes section at checkout. Also, please not that depending on the size of your window (width) each shade will hang slightly different.

You can purchase these shades one at a time based on approximate size then in the note section please put the exact dimensions as well as:

1) inside, outside, or door mount
2) if you prefer a semi-relaxed (as shown) or a regular relaxed roman
3) if you have a preference of a right or left hand loop chain pull.

For an OUTSIDE mount, measure the OUTSIDE of your window, which includes your window sill and any casing. This treatment is meant to be installed just above the window molding. Everything will come fully assembled and ready to be easily installed. The shade is meant to be slightly wider than your window molding, so you may want to add one to two inches the width. For the length, if you want the shade to fully extend when let out and cover the window, then also add a couple of inches to the length since it will hang just above your window. If you plan to leave the shade up, much or all of the time, you may decide not to have the shade be the full length of your window. This is up to you and can be fine and still look nice depending on the length of the window. Generally there will need to be at least 24" or so of length in a shade for it to have a good sway to it, depending on the width.


For an INSIDE mount, it is extremely important to measure very carefully as the mechanism sits tightly inside your window. This should be the outermost part of your inside window. The aluminum head rail (that the shade is attached to) is approximately 1.5" deep and there needs to be enough room on the inside of your window to mount this head rail flat and still allow for the window to open properly. Especially for inside mounting, please measure very precisely, as these are custom made to fit within a 1/2". I will deduct 1/4" to 1/2" off the measurement you give me - so please give me the exact measurement of both the width and the length inside the window casing.

For relaxed shades, it will take a bit to "train" the shade to lie properly each time it is pulled up, so you will need to adjust the folds the first several times you pull it up until the fabric is trained.

** Please note that because of federal child safety regulations, I am no longer offering the standard cord lock system, and all of my shades will be made with the clutch system. In addition to meeting all safety regulations, this system keeps the shade balanced at all times and overall maintains a better quality of shade. It features fully encased cording, and the continuous bead chain loop.
