Thank you to Phil for trusting me to be a small part in this special restoration of his father's old Morris chair. For the story, see at the bottom.

This listing includes ONE (1) cushion in the size indicated. It includes the foam, which is a 15-year medium/firm foam (2.8 lb/ft3 density with a 35lb ILD) which is wrapped in Dacron. Please note that with the foam, Dacron wrap and leather the thickness of the foam shown will be approximately 1/2 to 3/4" thicker than indicated.
If you are also ordering a seat back cushion, be sure to deduct the thickness of your seat cushion from height of your back cushion.
When ordering, order the size closest to the size you need. You will enter the exact size(s) you need in the personalization area. Note that sizes need to be in 1/2" increments. If unsure it's best to size down.

For sizing purposes, I refer to width as left to right. Width will be the zipper side of the cushion. Depth will be from front to back, or in the case of a seat back cushion the depth will be the height of the cushion.

All cushions in this listing will be piped top and bottom with the same leather. All cushions are fully leather: front, bottom and all sides are constructed in leather. The back panel where the zippers are installed have grommet vents which allows the leather to breathe and still keep the consistency of leather around the entire cushion. This allows you to flip your cushions and use both sides.
The leather used is a semi aniline top grade cowhide leather with a protective coating. It is an upholstery leather, so is thick and with proper care (conditioning) will last a lifetime.

The story of Phil:

Phil contacted me on July 17, 2019. Saying the following:

This was my dad's comfy chair when I was a little boy (I'm 66 now, he's long-deceased) and it has strong
sentimental value to me. I remember that he was sitting in that chair 50 years ago today as we both watched
the first mission to the Moon. We were both glued to our seats for eight days.

The chair was all in pieces, with every single glue joint needing redone. But it's beautiful old quarter-sawn oak
and now solid as a rock. I'll pass it down to my daughter.

I love the work I do, especially these types of stories that bring families together. I'm very sentimental myself, and have pieces that my grandfather had, that I have restored. Once Phil received the leather cushions, he sent in this five-star review, and also went to the trouble of finding me on Facebook and posting it there as well:

Dad's old Craftsman-Style Morris Chair. I wish I had a photo as it was before starting the restoration. It was
literally a pile of dirty sticks and boards in the dirt under the house. Every dowel had been eaten to dust by
insects, but the slabs of quartersawn oak were sound. The springs were so rusted I could crumple them with
my hand. Every mortise and tenon had to be reglued. The springs were replaced, and hand tied. Nothing less
than professionally crafted leather cushions would do. Deeana Richards of DeeanasDesigns made a beautiful
set of piped leather cushions for my dad's chair. They are flawless and fit the chair's character perfectly. My
favorite thing today.
